Question ID these Argentine Machine Guns

An MG42 derivative chambered in a heavier round?:

A Maxim derivative?:

Late war the Mauser company was working on a sort of scaled-up super MG42 in 13mm and 15mm. I suppose it's possible that the design found its way into Argentina post-war somehow.

I was in B.A. on March 27, 1976 (I was an A-Split). The Argentine army patrolling the streets were carrying FALs and M3 Grease Guns. The guards at the holding areas all had M3s as well. The MG stations in the major intersections appeared to be air cooled 1919s as near as I could tell. One of the scariest days of my life. Fortunately, I was recognized by a Naval officer as an American. He had been educated in the USA, pulled me out of the holding area, and sent me back to my ship.
